I recently upgraded my internet from 100/10 Mbps to 400/20 Mbps. With my old plan, simple queues worked great and I could get close to my max speed by setting a max rate using pcq queue types.
Now that I have a faster plan, I thought I could simply adjust my max rate to accommodate the new speeds, but it doesn’t appear to be that simple. I’m hitting some kind of cap around 200Mbps when I run speed test and I cannot figure out what is causing it. CPU usage is only around 20% when running a speed test, so I don’t believe its CPU bound. If I disable simple queues all together, I can get close to 400Mbps.
I’m running the latest stable OS 6.46.4 and firmware.
I don’t really want to disable simple queues, any suggestions on what I should look for or try?
