Successfully installed The Dude 3.6 on a windows 7 x64 station. Have subsequently tried to install the same download onto Windows Server 2003 R2 x64 SP2 and get the following error.
“Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.”
Checked the permissions and they are all fine. Tried the same install on another server 2003 x64 R2 SP2 server and it did the same thing. Tried a 2003 x86 server and the install launched fine. Tried server 2008 R2 x64 and it launched fine.
Is there a 2003 x64 compatibility issue here?
Install file is dude-install-3.6.exe
