Cannot install usermanager

Hello,

I’m new to routerbords.
Just got a RB435G with i think OS 5.2
I read about os 5.7 … 5.8 but can only download 5.16 at http://www.mikrotik.com/download.html

When i try to install usermanager and reboot i get a system error cannot install user-manager-5.16 system-5.16 is not installed.

You can download older versions… you just have to manually enter url:

http://download.mikrotik.com/all_packages-mipsbe-5.2.zip
http://download.mikrotik.com/all_packages-mipsbe-5.7.zip

Sorry, but mayby its not clear. My problem was already solved.
I made a mistake with the version numbers :slight_smile:
Usermanager is working now.

I am trying to install userman on my RB750GL but facing an error…
Please guide me what to do.

Version numbers need to be the same. The screenshot shows your current version is 5.2, but the upgrade file you’re trying to install is 5.16.

  1. Download the 5.2 package file: http://download.mikrotik.com/all_packages-mipsbe-5.2.zip
  2. Extract all files from the archive
  3. Upload the user-manager-5.2-mipsbe.npk to your router and reboot

i have been resolved this problem when i config my RB450G.
with upgrade version in mikrotik same version valid userman.
in my case, using v 6.37.3 (Current).
i hope this can be solution

I have mikrotik router board 1100AHx4 and router OS version is 6.42.3 (stable)
I downloaded the user manager package from /mikrotik.com/Download and add to file list and reboot our system but user manager package do not add to winbox>System> package and I can not open the file manager in the browser
please help me.
