i have mikrotik rb1000 with ver 3.30. i tried to access it through winbox. it says logging to xxx.xx.xxx.xxx on port 8291 and later said router disconnected. then i tried to access it through webbox and it gave me error std failure: broken path (2).
what might be the problem? please help 
did you try via Telnet/SSH ?
is ur pc directly connected to RB 1000 ??
ssh and telnet has been disabled due to security issue and yes my pc is directly connected to the rb1000
may be CPU process is going high, or you can try with another pc, or the last option try to remove all cables and then try again.
on RB1000 there is a console port, u can connect it
