I have the following configuration.
ether1-WAN
ether2-9 - bridged (192.168.0.0/24)
ether10 - hotspot (192.168.1.0/24)
Problem is that I cannot ping any hotspot client (192.168.1.11) but from hotspot client I can ping my 192.168.0.101 pc.
Why is this so?
The hotspot client must be logged in in order to ping from outside the hotspot network.
Also, insure you are pinging the correct IP from outside the hotspot subnet. Look in “/ip hotspot host” and insure the to-address for that client is the same as the address. The to-address is the ip you must ping.
Logged in. Same IP as taddress.
When client is not logged in, then from my pc i get Destination host unreachable message.
