Cannot ping with packet size > 32000. Is there a problem?

With some parts of my network I can send pings with packet sizes up to 65535. Other parts of my network won’t let pings over ~32000 go through. As I increase the packet size, timeouts start occurring intermittently until 35000 at which point there is %100 packet loss.

The internet seems fine over this part of the network but I am still worried. Is this something to be concerned about? This particular part of the network is running MPLS.

Thanks!
