Why does the system not allow one to remove the default BGP instance? It allows for disabling only. If the router is no longer performing BGP (or some other function) routing, then the OS should not prevent us from eliminating it from the configuration.
By requiring it to remain, the potential for problems increases as something or someone may inadvertantly enable the option and therefore introduce network problems.
Please do not prevent us from removing what we do not need.
