Cannot setup RouterBoard 3011UiAS-RM

I have a MikroTek 3011UiAS-RM. It was bought about 6 months back. The person working on setting it up never finished the config and has since left the company.

I tried resetting it by pressing the reset while powering up. Also tried the reset config option from the front touch panel.

No IP is issued to my laptop by DHCP. I tried Ether1, 2 & 3.

From the front panel, I see that no IP is assigned to any of the ports. I assigned one (192.168.88.1) using the panel. Also assigned IP another to my laptop (192.168.88.100).

Still, no reply to ping, ssh, telnet or browser.

Try WinBox, select Neighbors tab, see if the router shows there and connect to its MAC address if it does.
