Canon network printing issues

Hi,

I am still quite new to MikroTik routers, however right now, I’m having issues with my Canon MG3560, I have a MikroTik hAP3 AC, I have a feeling it’s down .

This is where it might be a contributing factor, wifi devices are on DHCP for 192.168.88.x, however my 2 main desktops have static public ipaddresses, as I have a /28 from my ISP, I can ping the printer and access the Web UI, however I am unable to set it up for use with the desktops, as it cannot be found via windows itself, or the Canon software.

Any help on this would be great.

Regards,

Bit of an assumption: connect everything to the MikroTik and you will be fine.
If not (possible), make a small network diagram including all clients.

Everything is connected to the MikroTik, both desktops are using ethernet, while the printer is using wifi, as-is my phone.

This is why my assumption is that it’s possibly something to do with the network setup and the desktops being on a different subnet to the printer.
