Can't access any external ftp server on port21

Hi…

i have a mt that works very well except for 1 thing…i can’t access any external ftp server that listen on port 21… it freeze on “Connected to x.x.x.x:21”. If i try to connect to a server that listen on another port it connects but won’t listen.. error “425 Can’t open data connection.”

That’s my configuration:

3 filter rule: Accept input/output/forward
1 Nat rule: Masquerade srcnat outint: ether1


any ideas?

pleace check that your FTP client is using passive connection settings

check on /ip firewall service ports

ftp enabled or disabled?

it doesn’t mean anything if the client use passive mode or active… simple it don’t work in both mode! :frowning:

now it’s enabled, i’ve tryed also to disable it but the result don’t change
