My HAP AX3 is stuck at only Ethernet in Quickset mode. It’s version 7.15, the wireless package is installed and enabled and resetting the configuration did not add back any other quickset options.
When I try to manually add the wireless back in, it won’t allow me because it has no Master (unknown).
Why would it lose all the other quickset modes and why is it so difficult to add them back in?
You’d think you could just provide the initial config script that comes with the router so we could reset it, rather than have to setup and run Net Install.
I’m also not sure why you think resetting the configuration will reload the initial script, it does not. Tried it on 7.14 and 7.15 was hoping updating to 7.15 would fix it, it didn’t. It’s only ethernet and when I click “show script” there is none.
i dont know what yours is doing but I did this to my ax3 and works just fine all installed and wifi working??
mine says home ap dual up the top left drop down after I did this reset
at the first boot I thought was a little funny with the config so I wiped it and rerset it like this

Disconnect the power cord from the unit.
Hold the reset button and do not release.
Plug the power cord in and wait until the ACT light starts flashing.
Now release the button to clear configuration.
Wait for a few minutes for the router to clear and restore the factory settings.
