Hi . I have sxt lite 5nd routerboard .
Im trying to connect to webfig by entering 192.168.88.1 in my web browser . But cant open it and wont direct me to web panel . I have pc . Its running windows 7 .
Also i tried to download winbox software and run it , hopefully it will find my device and shows mac address , but cant connect to it , shows error : could not connect to … My preference is to access to routeros throgh the web browser firefox or chrome .and not winbox .. Also i add it that yesyerday i could connect to routeros and it was okay . But i dont know why cant connect today … Also i guess i have to put ip address in “local area network” of control panel of windows7 . Can you guys please tell me what address should i put manuallly ? Also any additional suggestion .. Thanks .
Try to reinstall ROS using Netinstall.

did your PC get an address from the device? Also it will depend how the device is configured.
The device has a wireless interface and an ethernet interface. Either one of them could be configured as the internet port, so it’s protected. Maybe connectivity is allowed only from the other port.

my PC doesn’t get MAC address from the device. I manually enter MAC and get error responce “could not connect to”
i am totally newbe so please help.
Use Winbox so you can connect with MAC-address
