Hello. My company just got fiber connection and I need to connect it to our MikroTik router RB2011 u1as-rm but whatever I do I cant get connected to the internet.
The ISP has provided me with a switch/fiber to ethernet adapter and given me static IP,gateway,mask and dns.
I started of checking if the ISP provided switch works and it did. Putting in their values in my network card gave me internet access.
So I fired up the mikrotik router and used Quickset but it doesnt work. I followed the mikrotik guide and still the same result. I cant connect to internet and when I write ipconfig /all I get really confusing values.
I’m no expert but it looks like the WAN port is bridged and I cant disable it.
Does anyone know what the problem might be?
