Can't connect to the SDSL modem

hello there all masters and gurus..

just for info, i am very new to this product..
the company i worked at are currently focusing on wifi hotspot services..
i’ve been sent to this hotel which i have to configure their wifi AP for guests..
my boss supplied me with configured microtik routerboard which has been set to accept connection from DHCP-Enable modem.
right now i’m having problem regarding connection between microtik routerboard 750 and SDSL modem that are using fixed IP supplied by ISP.
means the routerboard cannot connect to the modem and can’t get the internet..

this is a simple flows on how the microtik should be connected..

SDSL MODEM → Microtik Routerboard this will be hotspot gateway → switch that connect to all wifi AP for every floor..

assuming the internet lined fixed IP is 219.95.xx.xx and the subnet is 255.255.255.252

anybody can show me step by step on how to configure the routerboard so it can set to accept connection from that SDSL modem?
As i am really new to this product and barely know how to set up the routerboard..

xtra info - current configuration for the routerboard

PORT 1 → connect to SDSL
PORT 2 → managment port 192.168.88.1
PORT 5-> connect to the WIFI ap switch..this is the hotspot gateway

thanx to all masters and gurus help as this matters is urgent now..

You need to remove the DHCP client from the interface that was intended to connect to the modem and then:

a) add the IP address, subnet mask and gateway provided by the ISP to the interface connected to the modem (IP/Addresses)
b) add a default route in the routing table using the gateway address provided by the ISP (IP/Routes)

sorry to ask again sir..

i’ve remove the DHCP client as per requested (under DHCP client tab)

correct me if im wrong..

login to RB750 using webfig → left tab i choose IP tab → DHCP client..found it and remove.
as for adding the IP address, subnet and gateway from ISP, i believe u asked me to put all that under tab interfaces → double click on port 1 interfaces but i can’t find a place where i should put all that.
same as routing table.

sorry again sir.

You add the IP etc. under IP/Addresses.

You add the route under IP/Routes.
