I have a mAP running 6.35rc42 and it won’t connect to a wireless network named “RMR#598”. In the wireless scanner I click on the wireless network and see the following:
Then when I click on the “Connect” button I get:
Error message is:
Couldn't perform action - object doesn't exist (4)
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Could be that the hash tag in the SSID is messing up Webfig. Try to rename the APs SSID, or connect from Console

Thanks for the reply. I tried from the console but the network still doesn’t connect - it still shows “Searching for network ” in the web interface.
We are using the mAP in wireless repeater mode using the wireless-rep package. Unfortunately I don’t have the ability to change the SSID name.
Is there anything else I can do to troubleshoot?
I get this no matter what I try to connect to. Any clues anyone?

I was never able to resolve this so ended up having to connect with a wired connection instead of wireless.
You’re probably better to submit a ticket to Mikrotik support for assistance.
