Can't get Bridge to pass traffic

I’m trying to setup (Radio1) an access point with a bridge backhaul on the same router board. I can’t get any traffic to pass over the Bridge backhaul connection, eventhough the bridge and station (Radio2) have made a connection. I can see the station using neighborviewer and can connect to the station MAC address, but I can’t ping the station or anything behind the station.

Bridge AP Setup (Radio1)
WLAN1 (AP) 10.16.241.10/24
WLAN2 (Bridge) 10.16.241.11/24
ether1 10.16.241.9/24
All interfaces are port members of a wirebridge.
IP route 0.0.0.0/0 gateway 10.16.241.1 - Which says is reachable, but I’m unable to ping the gateway.

Station Setup (Radio2)
WLAN1 (Station) 10.16.241.8/24
WLAN2 (AP) 10.16.241.7
Ether1 10.16.241.6/24
All Interfaces are port members of a wirebridge
IP route 0.0.0.0/0 gateway 10.16.241.1

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Try setting Radio2 wlan1 to station-pseudobridge

Do like Aug says, because you can’t add a wireless ‘station’ to a bridge.

Why did you select bridge mode for wlan2 in radio1? I assume only one client will be connecting to it? Otherwise it should be in AP mode as well.

You have not assigned ip to either bridge (radio1 or radio2). That means you will only have mac level access between the radios. Both bridges should have ip addresses.

Thanks for the replys. I’ll try your suggestions and let you know.

eneimi, Aug,

Thanks again for the replys. Setting Radio2 station-pseudobridge resolved the issue.

Aug, I only have one client (radio2) connecting to the bridge interface.
