I’ve been trying to install Router OS 6.39 on one of my Dell Servers R710, unfortunately the installer doesn’t recognize the hard drive. I tried with (disks on RAID and without RAID config) the H700 RAID card and nothing, also tried with the PERC 6/i RAID card and nothing, Any idea?
No deiver support in ROS. Install esxi free version and create a vm with CHR is one solution.
Also CHR has much better performance then x86

ESXi as a hypervisor then run a CHR within it is about your best option. CHR is easy enough to deploy just importing an OVA template and the licensing is a lot more forgiving as you can move it about (if you pay for one).
Do be careful though as an ESXi install only allows up to 8 cores to be assigned to a VM (I fell foul of that one). It left me a lot of cores spare so I now have some 5 machines on that hardware as routeros doesn’t even take that much RAM
