Hi
I recently upgrade my rb500 panel from v2.9.34 to v3.0 beta 10 but now i cant login using wnbox, telnet or ssh! I ftp the whole package then rebooted the OS but i cant login. When i use another routerboard neighbor viewer, i can see the upgraded panel with 2 interfaces one the MAC address is XXXXXXXXX and the other one its proper MAC address.
Is it bricked?

I have seen this on some of the older 5XX series (low memory)..
Disable some of the paskages IE DUDE server, IPV6 if you dont need them…
I shut down DUDE and IPV6 on my older box and it came up just fine…
You may want to go to RC1 after you “get the router back”… I think it runs better on the 500s..
As allways, only load the packages you need… Others just clog up the system and take unnessisary CPU cycles. Dont load it just because it is there…

i had the same problem and i used netisntall to reinstall routeros and worked fine after that , but in the new rc1 i do see the cpu at 100% more than id like it
