Can't make RB951G-2HnD work after the removal of configuration.

Hi, I tried to set up port forwarding and failed, so I wanted to start over and removed configuration, and after that i can’t get anything from this router. I can’t connect to it using web and anyway it doesn’t give IP for any connected devices and i can’t connect to it using Winbox and MAC, it is not listed.
I tried to reinstall RouterOS using NetInstall, but i didn’t get any result. Here is a list of my actions:

  1. loaded Netinstall 6.36.2
  2. loaded routeros-mipsbe-6.34.6.npk
  3. turn off my wireless connection
  4. connect router to my notebook using 1’st (POE) ethernet port.
  5. configured connection in notebook as IP: 192.168.88.2 Mask: 255.255.255.0 Gateway: 192.168.88.0 and DNS:192.168.88.0, 192.168.88.3
  6. enable Net booting in Netinstall used IP: 192.168.88.1
  7. turne router off
  8. press reset button and turn router on
  9. when, after 10-15 sec router produces a long beep and after more 5 sec it produces 2 short beeps
  10. and i stop to press the reset button
    And nothing happend in Netinstall. Of course i turned off my firewall and antivirus.
    May be someone know how can i fix this problem? And in particular that mean these beeps.

Try disabling your laptop wireless interface, and keep holding the RB951 reset button until you see the 951 appear on the netinstall window.

You can access the router in a “clean” state (resetted to no defaults), by using mac-winbox; once in Winbox, click the neighbors tab, you can connect and configure routers appearing there even if they don’t have any IPs.

Hi, iIt was my fault, sorry. Suddenly i found that my notebook’s LAN port is dead and can’t get any packets, and router feels good and problem solved. Thanks.
