Can't ping Intermec AP that is associated to MikroTik AP

I manage a system that is made up of 20 Intermec APs and 14 MikroTik APs. In one scenario, I have a MikroTik AP/Bridge on 5.8GHz that connects to two static WDS slaves. The slaves run 5.8GHz on wlan2 and 2.4GHz on wlan1. Wlan1 on each of the slaves act as APs to the clients. On one of the slaves, wlan1 has a virtual AP interface that connects to a dual radio Intermec AP inside of a remote small building, both radios are in the 2.4 GHz range. The clients can connect through the Intermec just fine, in fact the clients have no problems communicating with any APs. My problem is that I can not manage or even ping the remote Intermec AP. Intermec uses IAPP and STP. One of the Intermecs assumes the roll of the root in the spanning tree. If I log into the root, I can see the remote Intermec AP and I can ping it from there only. The only way for me to manage the remotely located Intermec AP, is to connect to it directly. I can manage all the other Intermecs that are connected to the wired side of the net, but not the one connected through the MikroTik. Is this an IAPP issue?

The WDS slave/AP that the Intermec associates with, does not recognize the Intermec as an AP in the registration table.

I disabled Inter-Access Point Protocol on the remotely located Intermec AP, so I don’t think that is the problem. It’s still not recognized as an AP in the registration table.
