can't ping MT routers from ping tool in Dude...

I’m setting up my first Dude managed MT network, and I cannot ping connected MT routers, using the ping tool from the drop-down menu in Dude.

I can ping all routers from the Win7 development server that is running Dude (via CMD window/line) and can ping the Win7 server from each router.

I can instantiate a Winbox session, or a Terminal session, using the tools in the Dude drop-down menu for any router, but not ping or traceroute any of them.

I assume this is foundational, and elementary, as I have SNMP issues yet to resolve…

What do I have wrong here? I’ve searched the Forum posts, and the wiki and manual, but can’t figure this out.

Is is running as administrator and did you disable UAC?

Yes, always administrator of this development box, and no, I did not have UAC off. Tried it with the firewall off, but forgot UAC. Didn’t notice any notifications, but…

Turned off UAC and indeed, Ping and Traceroute work.
