I have MK1 - MK2 - MK3. MK1 has 192.168.100.0/24 network MK2 has 192.168.100.124/30 network MK3 has 192.168.100.128/25 network
Static Routes between these MikroTiks are ok, but …
I cannot ping MK3 192.168.100.128 from my PC.
I can ping MK2 with 192.168.100.124 from my PC.
When I am logged on to any of my MikroTiks I can ping each other mikrotik, eg. from MK1 I can ping 192.168.100.128, but from my PC not, where is problem ?[/b]
I think your IP range is wrong, you cant have 192.168.100.0 /24 on one router and then another 192.168.100 range on another because your firdt router took all of the 192.168.100 ip range
I would agree. You can’t have the same ip blocks on multiple routers. What i would suggest is to split up the subnet. Then once you do that make sure you setup routes.
Thank you for your reply,
I 've just speculated about IP range but there is still question about MK2 ..
If you think I have bad Ip range, why I can ping MK2 from my PC (192.168.100.124/30) but MK3 I can’t still ping from my PC.
Ok lets look at your static routes then. Can you post what static routes you have in the MT’s. This is going to be what you problem is going to be most likely, also do you have any firewall rules that can be preventing the ping from going through?
I don’t use any rules of firewall, there will be a problem in routes, maybe. I would send you screens of route of my MK1-3 to your email, because I do not know how to put my screens into this message. Could you give me your email, plz, if not I’ll understand it.
