My hEx S router works seemingly, but foolishly two days ago I played with the configurations and did something wrong, so accidently I can’t reach the RouterOS web interface at 192.16.88.1 as I used to before, and the same on winbox.
I tried to reset the router to the default factory settings, but nothing changed.
Things went even worse, because after several reset attempts I found myself without and internet connection completely.
What should I do?
If you look at the middle of the winbox login screen you should see 2 tabs, one saying managed and one saying neighbours. If you click on the neighbours tab you will hopefully see your device there, if so you can double click on the mac address and try and log in that way.
Also the error when trying to log in will tell you a lot about what is preventing you from logging in, can you please let us know what the error is when trying to connect both via IP and through the mac address?

Connect to any other port then ether1.
If the device is reset to factory settings, it should show up in Winbox / Neigbors.
