Can't start dhcp server on ether13 mgmt on CCR2116

Hi!

I have setup my CCR2116 to have a single bridge with vlans to have L3HW offloading. I have vlans configured with dhcp servers active on them (from the CCR). All of it is working perfectly.

I wanted to add a dhcp server on the management interface (ether13) but I see a capital “I” for Invalid beside it… and the line about this dhcp server is red. Is there a limit I’m hitting here??

Are you creating DHCP on port ether13 or on vlan? What exactly are you doing?

Will it be red if you plug the cable into the port?

In this case it’s directly on ether13 which isn’t member of the bridge.

Not on site at this moment so I can’t try but maybe?? Do we need to have the interface running to set a valid dhcp server??

Just insert cable into the port and check. Everything should work
