I have two Cap ACs.
We had a power outage this morning and everything appeared to come back on line just fine a few hours later.
The only issue I have usually is my hex router as my vlanbell internet connection often switches to a different gateway structure and the router is unable to get it, and partially why I have a secondary straight ethernet cable wan2 (so family doesnt see the problem at start-up which I fix manually).
However, this morning very very very weird capAC behaviour.
- capAC1 Primary Radio1 set to 5Ghz AC only, works fine! (not on VLAN).
- capAC2 Primary Radio1 set to 5Ghz AC/N, works fine (not on VLAN)
- capAC1 Primary Radio2 set to 2.4Ghz, on VLAN does NOT work.
- capAC2 Primary Radio2 set to 2.4Ghz, on VLAN does NOT work.
- capAC1 Virtual Radio running of Primary Radio 1, on VLAN does NOT work
- capAC2 Virtual Radio running of Primary Radio 1, on VLAN does NOT work.
Okay, does not work needs to be expanded.
No internet connection. Never get the checkmark.
I will get one of two error messages on the iphone
a. I will get wrong password error on the iphone but these have been infinity checked and re-inserted as well.
b. Other is Unable To Join the Network, and this happens with no attempt to
c. If I wait after b. for a bit of time and try to join again I get it to the stage of spinning but no internet connection…
d. Then it will show on the Access Point that I have successfully joined the ACCESS POINT RADIO…
-attempts to associate
-default acl allow
-connected
Then a dissac and leaving…
On the main router (no indication of a vlan assigned IP address to the iphone either via LOGs or Leases.
Come to think of it… I dont see any recent VLAN leases at all through the cap ACs…
Hmmmmmmm now I am stumped, but it does appear to be a VLAN issue???
(starting to think that the dlink managed switch between router and capAC needs a lookie).
What does “allow dual stack queue” mean. It shows for my iphone lease which I am using for testing between VLANs and bridges(Lans)??
