I don’t think so considering Mikrotik never released an update to take full advantage of IPQ40XX hardware with features like MU-MIMO, beamforming or airtime fairness.
Why would use the capac as a router??
Capac runs RoS, so when IPV6 is working in RoS, the required bits for the Capac will work just fine.
Oh my bad you meant WIFI-6, not IPV6 LOL.
Well then you may have to purchase the CAPAC2.
You cannot expect architecture that needs hardware changes or software changes beyond the RAM/flash capacity etc of current products to be upgradeable??
I dont think MT has an upgrade program, although that is not a bad idea.
I have had to use a cAP AC as a router. The hAP AC2 was out of stock for months and I needed to get a system online.
As most resi systems only have 1 wan feed… Its not outside the realm of reasonable to make it a router.
That’s the advantage of RouterOS, you can make an AP work as a router and vice versa
