CAP local forwarding between devices

Hello,

I think there is a problem with client to client forwarding on CAP when local forwarding is enabled. When I enable local forwarding then ping between devices on same SSID is not working. Everything else is working:

  • ping from wireless device to router is ok
  • ping from router to wireless device is ok
  • ping from wireless device to another network is ok
  • ping from another network to wireless device is ok
  • ping to and from another devices on same bridge (ethernet) is ok

I tried disabling local forwarding and then it works OK.

I also tried to add another CAP interface with local forwarding and same subnet (and bridge) and then it works ok. So, there is a problem when devices are on the same SSID but with same radio and different SSID there is no problem.

Could anyone verify this…? v6.19

Enable client to client forwarding ?

Yes, it is enabled but even then they cannot communicate between each other if local forwarding is also enabled. Only with local forwarding off it works.
