Cap to cap connection

Is there any difference between cap to cap connection or do I need to connect cap directly to capsman? I’m asking because I’m adding a new cap, and the existing cap is much closer then capsman.

As long as the second device gets sufficient power and it can " see" capsman controller network-wise, no problem.

Yes, the second device is wired to the capsman.

Now you are contradicting yourself

Either it is directly connected and then there is no issue.
Or it is daisy-chained (controller wired to cap wired to 2nd cap) in which case there should not be a problem either if that first cap is in full bridged config (which it should if it is in default caps mode).

Currently it’s:
capsman<----wired—>cap1

What i want to do is:
capsman<----wired—>cap1<—wired—>cap2

so I don’t have to do:
capsman<—wired—>cap2

And that’s the answer, then.

If cap1 is in full bridged mode, cap2 will “see” capsman controller. No problem.
The thing you need to be careful with is that power applied to cap1 is sufficient to power BOTH cap1 and cap2.

What’s the power supply you use for cap1 ? And which cap devices are we talking about ?

Oh, power supply is not an issue as cap2 will have own power supply as the socket is already in place.

Super, no issue there then !
