cAP very poor wi-fi in case of 100 Mbit Ethernet with Gbit PoE

Hello,

I am facing a quite strange behavior of RBcAPGi-5acD2nD device in my network.
For longer time I use CAPsMan to run several APs in my network without any issues (including VLANs and so on), but with the mentioned device I see troubles on the wi-fi side once I connect MikroTik Gigabit PoE into a 100 Mbit switch port. When the whole device is connected to the gigabit port, wi-fi runs properly and I have enough throughput, but once I connect to the 100 Mbit, the wi-fi side is very, very poor, I would say not usable.
First time I was thinking about cAP’s Ethernet port or damaged passive Gigabit PoE, but wire connection seems to be o.k. in case of Gbit and 100 Mbit connection as well (tried via Bandwidth Test), also tried another passive Gigabit PoE.

The only part making troubles is wi-fi (2,4 and 5 GHz).
I don’t see any reason why Ethernet connectivity should affect wi-fi in such way…
Only “small data” can be transferred when running cAP on 100 Mbit Ethernet line using Gbit PoE. So using tracing or ping you cannot see any issue… But trying to establish web connection, ftp, scp, or whatever, you have no chance…

All MikroTik devices have the latest stable RouterOS.
Tried with more devices.

Has somebody faced such kind of issue with 5Gac cAP, please?

Thanks & Regards,
Jaroslav

Im new in Mikrotik, but Ive seen problems between 100 Mbit and Gbit devices, what is your cpu usage when switch is 100 Mbit? try to set cAP’s Ethernet port to 100 Mbit
