CAPs connecting to subnetwork's router (CAPsMAN)

I have two routers (951G-2HnD, RB951Ui-2nD). Let’s name them Router1 and Router2. Router 2 is behind Router1 and both has multiple CAP devices, and the CAPsMAN also activated on both. I added all CAP devices manually to their specific routers.

When Router1 somehow disappear (e.g. electric blackout) the CAP devices dinamically connecting to Router2 (which is - again - behind Router1, an autonom network). After Router1 reachable again CAP devices of Router1 are inactive in its CAPsMAN, because they are already dynamically connected to Router2.

My question is why CAP devices of Router1 connecting to Router2? Could i separate Router2’s network more to handle just its own CAP devices? How can i prevent this situation?

Thanks!

Yes, tell the cap the name or address of the capsman manager to connect to..

Thank you for your help. It works. I also configured the certificates and enabled the Lock to CAPsMAN option.

You are welcome… since you told the cap where to connect, lock is not really important…
