CAPS Local Forwarding

I needed to change the configuration of my caps to Local Forwarding Mode as the speed that I was getting was 1/3 of what I have now with this mode on.

The question is this. Is the data coming in when accessing internet from caps processed by the firewall on caps-man as it was when I had Local Forwarding Mode set to off?

I’m asking this because I have firewall settings only on my caps-man which is establishing a session to ISP.

Are you saying that your Router is Running Caps-Man?

Thats fine if it is… (Most common deployment I would think.) the firewall will function at your router like normal.

If you have LOCAL FORWARDING unchecked… all traffic is tunneled back to the Caps-Man Controller. This cause a considerable slow down for most users.
