You are using old-style capsman and expect it to work with new-style wifi drivers ?
That’s not going to happen.
One wireless driver across the board, no mix.
2 options:
1- Move everything to wave2-world: Remove wireless package from CCR1036 and setup everything under wifi menu tree.
2- Stick to legacy wifi: replace wifi-qcom-ac package on Mantbox with wireless (a.k.a. put it back like it was)
You do. It’s under /interface/wifi (you have to use a few subtrees there from, capsman uses profiles). On devices with ac/ax radio and with wifi-qcom (or wifi-qcom-ac) drivers installed, one configures local radio(s) in the same configuration subtree.
I was able to get everything working. My CAPs are now connected to CCR1036 running CAPSMAN
On CCR1036 I have wireless package installed. Setup Capsman under Wireless > Capsman.
On RBD22UGS-5HPacD2HnD I have wireless package installed. Connected to Capsman (CCR1036) under Wireless > Wireless and under Wifi interfaces tab button CAP setup my Capsman connection.
One more question: I also have few L22UGS-5HaxD2HaxD in my network that I would like to connect to CCR1036 Capsman. On L22UGS-5HaxD2HaxD I currently have qifi-qcom package installed. Do I remove that package and install wireless package and then connect to my working Capsman?
As far as info in this thread goes, @OP runs a few RBD22UGS-5HPacD2HnD (which are ac devices) and now he threw an L22UGS-5HaxD2HaxD into the mix … which is ax device. All of these are capable of running wifi drivers (L22 only this one), so @OP would better convert everything to wifi setup … as @holvoetn suggested already in post #2 above (but @OP somehow didn’t pick it up).
I seems to me that @OP didn’t show us the whole picture … but based on information presented so far, I’d suggest @OP to move over to new wifi (just has to find the /interface/wifi/capsman on his CCR).
