Capsman 2.4G and 5Ghz.

Hello,

Happy new year to everybody.

I have a simple (possible stupid) question.
I have a router doing capsman + hotspot, and have some metal 52Ac and Cap Ac doing Access points.

My capsman config has 2.4G and 5G config. All ok and working nicely on the Cap AC, but on the metal 52AC i would like to only use 2.4G, but for some reason it picks the 5G,

How can i make the metal 52 Ac have the 2.4Ghz instead of the 5Ghz? (it only has one interface).

This model if i remember right has software selectable band…
I ve seen recently another post with the same problem but i do not really remember if a solution was found…

Hi.
Have you tried to add adicional “configuration” and apply this to the AP with a specific “provisioning” rule with the MAC of Metal AC ?
