CAPsMAN, 5-GHz, laptop gets disconnected

Greetings,

I’ve 2 MikroTik devices, hAP ac (RBcAPGi-5acD2nD) & cAP ac (RBcAPGi-5acD2nD). CAPsMAN manager is running on hAP, managing cAP device.
I keep firmware & versions up-to-date, currently both are on 6.48.3.

There are two wireless networks managed by CAPsMAN -

channel: 2412/20-Ce/gn(27dBm), SSID: ***, CAPsMAN forwarding
channel: 5180/20-Ceee/ac(15dBm), SSID: ***-5GHz, CAPsMAN forwarding

A single Lenovo laptop (which I’m also keeping up-to-date in terms of drivers/software etc), when connected to 5GHz WiFi, while running a speed test on https://fast.com, manages to kill that 5GHz signal for all household connected to that same AP.

Would you be able to help me identify the root cause?

[Edit]
This does not happen on every run, if I make 2-3 speed test attempts, usually only the first causes the above behaviour.
It does not happen when that same laptop is connected to 2.4GHz channel.

You are probably pegging the CPU on the hap ac since you are using capsman forwarding. Try local forwarding instead or get a faster device to be the capsman server.

Double checked this now, /tool profile on hAP ac is not climbing above 55% total usage.
I failed to mention, this happens only on that Lenovo laptop, I couldn’t reproduce the same behaviour on any other device.
