today I replaced some older wifi accesspoints with MikroTik WAP AC. Firmware is 6.38.4
Since then users complain about infrequent timeouts on their devices, i.e. the problem is reported with Apple iPhones, only (so far).
Looking at the iPhone, the phone was connected to wifi, but it showed a 169.x.x.x ip address. According to the user, the iPhone works sometimes as usual, until it shows a timeout again.
On CAPSMAN controller, DHCP Lease time is 9 hours. “Add ARP For Leases” is enabled, only. CAPSMAN is running on x86 with 4 cores and 5GB of RAM.
What could be the problem?
