I have newbie question. I understand why I need mgmt vlan setup when using hAP ac^2 with SXT LTE6 kit but I don’t understand if it is necessary to create mgmt bridge for CAPsMAN. I am asking this question because majority of tutorials and guides considering CAPsMAN suggest creating said 2 bridges. My goal however is to keep everything as simple as possible.
I manage network in a kindergarden that consists of:
- hAP ac^2 as main router (connected to LTE router from ISP) and CAPsMAN,
- 3 Mikrotik CAP ac connected to hAP via third-party switch,
- 7 PCs, 10 laptops,
- 4 MFPs,
- 1 server running AD.
I am not interested in guest WLAN, as well as any sort of VLANs. I would very much like to have one DHCP server giving out IP addresses from one pool for all wireless and wired devices. All of these devices should be able to communicate to each other.
