Capsman config, L009UiGS-2HaxD with L4 RBSXTsq2nD

Hi,

I have setup several CAPsman config in the past, all working as expected.

But with this setup, I have a problem.
Idea was that CAPsman is running on L009UiGS-2HaxD (arm) with Level4 RBSXTsq2nD (mips). It should control onboard wifi and 3 SXT’s.

I have these packages installed:

If I install wireless package, I’m loosing onboard wifi.

In another setup, but just L009 (no wifi) with wireless package CAPsman is controlling SXT mips AP’s as expected.

Question/help:
How to run onboard wifi and CAPsman at L009UiGS-2HaxD (arm)?
I can accept to have local management of wifi interface (via wifi-qcom) and CAPsman managed SXT’s (how?).

You can not have wireless package and working wifi interface on L009.
You need to choose or move the wireless-capsman function to another device without AX radios.

For AX devices (as of 7.13):

Running both capsmans at the same time
routeros + wireless
Loses built-in cards

ah, I read that.

But I was hoping that there is a way around.

Let’s hope that Mikrotik soft team will develop needed upgrade to be able to run CAPsman on L009 with support for onboard ax card.

Unfortunately, there are no workaround for this scenario, you’d have to run Wireless CAPsMAN on a different device, or you’d have to use Wireless package on L009UiGS-2HaxD, in which case Wifi interfaces would be unavailable.
