Hello and Happy New Year!
Using Mikrotik Chateau Pro as CAPSMAN and Chateau 5GR17 as CAP
Made configurationas described in Youtube . Looks like connected and managed over CAPSMAN
Right now CAP does not connect to any wifi client.
What I am doing wrong ?
Happy New Year as well...at least share the config from both CAP and CAPsMAN:
/interface wifi export
Remove serial and post as Preformatted text by using the </> button.
Usually it means misconfig.
E.g. channel 52 set for 2.4Ghz radio.
Or 160MHz channel width on devices that don't support it.
Things like that...
Export as requested might reveal the problem.
PS fixed typo in title.

Hello!
One thing that tried to check on configuration:
In WIFI configuration Channel select is only unknown, not possible to select channels.
Can select BAND, Channel Width, Frequency.
I already using wifi network from CAPSMAN quick set.
Do I need delete this setting and start from scratch ?
To OP
Repeat request.
Your config is wrong
If you don't define them first, they don't exist.
Other people have written to you, and you're ignoring them.
That doesn't seem polite to me.

Hello !
Sorry for not replying immediately.
There been more urgent problems. -18 degrees cold cant be ignored .
Used https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bHotZT41w3E youtube guide for configuration.
Now changed some other frequency setings asettings and looks like got it working, but it does not seem OK. other words current configuration is not original anymore.
Andrus:
but it does not seem OK.
Request remains, show your config.

Looks like both devices get their config from capsman controller.
So what's not ok for current situation ?
If you want further assistance, you may also want to export config of device acting as controller.

Hello,
Looks like I get it working right now.
Problem was that I did not create channels before as mentioned by.
rextended
Also tried to remember how to save WIFI config…
but it was already between eyes use command line and copy paste
I check does it works now, couple WIFI sensors complainedpreviously that weak signal.
Now I see that there is traffic through CAP WIFI
Also, Currently I do not use .. or looks like I do not use
WIFI-Provisioning_ Action Create dynamic enabled setting as described in previously mentioned Youtube video.
Keep updated about progress !
And now we have - 23 degrees cold in Estonia ….
Thank You !

One config is CAPMAN. other CAP
At least the provision rules are missing on the CAPsMAN. Did you provision the CAP manually? Also it seems there is no configuration, which is necessary.
On your CAP there seems to be a lot of unnecessary settings, while all you need is something like:
/interface wifi
set [ find default-name=wifi1 ] configuration.manager=capsman .mode=ap datapath=capdp disabled=no
set [ find default-name=wifi2 ] configuration.manager=capsman .mode=ap datapath=capdp disabled=no

Good evening!
I previously set previsioning rules as I saw from Mikrotik Youtube video .
I made CAPSMAN settings reset from backup after I posted here , then created channels as guided by
rextended and now it works .
I dont know how but for me looks like a system working: no more weak signal devices and when looking at CAPSMAN quickset, I see that 2,4 ghz band devices have high signal strength.
For CAP setting, I used System =>Reset Configuration=> selected KEEP USERS and CAPS Mode and then >reset configuration. After Reboot I see In Quick Set tab that Mode is LTE AP DUAL and under WIFI tab that CAP is managed by CAPMAN, Traffic processing on CAP; Mode AP;
When clicking CAP Configuration under RH side Actions, i see that CAP is enabled, discovery Interfaces is bridge Local, slaves Datapath is capdp
