Capsman DHCP problem

Hi all,

I have a problem with capsman, i have a configuration with 3 SSID and 3 Vlans, each one has a DHCP server. One of the SSID is a guest network so i dont want that the users of this network has any possibility to connect to the local network, i want to isolate this network from the others (wired and wifi).

i read that i must to configure in the datapath section of capsman the local forwarding option, but when i do that nothing happends, i try to make a ping to the server (is in another network) and it works (i dont want that).

I can do that with the firewall but i dont want to load the cpu if i can do with an easy configuration.

If (and it’s hard to tell as configuration is not attached) VLANs are configured correctly, then it’s likely that the router (device, which has all VLANs configured) is not restricting communication between the VLANs.

You have to remember: just because devices are split into different VLANs the communication is not limited … if router (with its firewall) doesn’t limit it.
