I have dome some furhter testing (Linked via USB Mobile Network, via routed Ethernet, via other Mikrotik doing NAT to a public Wifi) and I have come to the conclusion that CapsMan Traffic Proccessing on Capsman is broken, when the CAP is connected via L3 IP.
Could anyone try to confirm / reproduce?
- Legacy CapsMan (Wireless - not WiFi)
- Traffic processing on CapsMan
- CAP connected via IP (Layer3)
I have tested with certs / with no certs. All results are the same.
- CAP connected via Ethernet (Remote Cap showing with MAC address on the manager) everything works fine.
- CAP connnected via IP. Then do for example a ping -M do -s 1472 (1500 packet ethernet) from Linux. Packets arrive at destination via CapsMan but replies do not make it back to the CAP.
Shall I try downgrading? If so, which RouterOS version?
