CAPsMAN & guest interface name

Hello,

I have an issue when provisioning my APs with guest wifi:
The first time I did it, it was fine: my master interfaces were named wifi1 & wifi2, CAPsMAN generated two slave interfaces wifi3 & wifi4
Because I am using a guest network using VLANs, I have added wifi3 & wifi4 in my bridge on the AP with the right tagging and everything was running smoothly.

My issue is that every time there is re-provisioning (the AP or the router restart), the name of the guest interfaces change (to wifi5 & wifi6, or to even higher numbers), and my bridge ports interfaces get lost (they become “unknown”), and obviously my guest wifi does not work anymore.
Is there a way to avoid that?.

Thank you,
Arnaud

I have just solved it by adding the “dynamic” interface list to my bridge (instead of the guest interfaces directly).
If you have any idea to fix the guest interfaces name though, I would be interested as this would be cleaner.

Don’t make them dynamic enabled.
