Hello, I’ve been using Mikrotik products for a few years. Currently, I have the following equipment:
model: RBcAPGi-5acD2nD (Cap XL)
model: L009UiGS
model: RBD53iG-5HacD2HnD (hAP ac^3)
I used a different, manual configuration for each of my wireless networks. I wanted to switch to CAPsMAN and the Wifi module.
So I removed my wireless package and installed package: wifi-qcom-ac. I use firmware version 7.16rc4 on all equipment.
I’m now able to configure the wireless interface manually. However, I have a problem with CAPsMAN that I can’t solve or understand.
At the moment, my L009UiGS is acting as a CAPsMAN controller and the CAPs are RBcAPGi-5acD2nD (Cap XL) and RBD53iG-5HacD2HnD (hAP ac^3).
I’m able to configure the CAPsMAN on the Bridge interface and configure the 2 CAPs without any problem. The equipment manages to connect to the
CAPsMAN controller, but I don’t see any “Radio available” and I do get the message that the CAP’s are attached.
I did several tests. Reset the CAPs by default, read the forum, listen to Mikrotik’s videos and unfortunately I can’t do it.
