CAPsMAN Router OS 7.13 RB951Ui-2HnD

Hi there. I have updated my RB951Ui-2HnD to from 6.49 to 7.13
There is something strange in my WIFI interfaces and it doesnt give me access to install CAPsMAN client
de.png
Was my update finished unsuccessfully? Need I to downgrade back?

Read first page of release notes for 7.13.
The whole wireless/wifi structure has been redone/moved/reworked.

Exactly what is not working ?

Cant install connection with CAPsMAN master.

Wifi is disabled and shows error when I try to enable
de.png

Screenshot shows it IS being managed by capsman.

Which device is acting as capsman controller ?

The Capsman controller is the other router in a network (192.168.192.1) and there is one CAPsMAN client connected to the controller successfuly

Check MAC address of radio on capsman controller.
Then check MAC addresses on RB951Ui-2HnD.
I guess it will be the same.

I still fail to see what actually is the problem ?
Do you or do you not intend to use capsman ?
Is that RB951Ui-2HnD yes or no to be used as caps device (=controlled by capsman) ?

Client cant see capsman controller. There is no place to input it

RB951Ui-2HnD has never been a part of this network. This network has been working without it.
I have tried to add one more capsman client but couldnt make it with RB951Ui-2HnD RouterOS 6.49 then I updated it to 7.13

Ok. Time to put all info on the table then.

Full drawing of your network inc. connections and subnets ( can be on paper, just make a picture).
Also indicate type of each Mikrotik device in there.

On rb951:
Terminal
Export file=anynameyouwish
Move file to pc
Edit file and remove serial, password, etc.
Post file here between code quotes for easier readability.

Why is this enabled ?
This makes it search for a capsman controller and be controlled by it.
Someone put it there, that's not by accident.

/interface wireless cap

set bridge=bridge caps-man-addresses=192.168.192.1 discovery-interfaces=ether1
enabled=yes interfaces=wlan1

Yes, I need it to make RB951Ui-2HnD controlled by another controller. But I cant, RB951Ui-2HnD couldnt find it

Then that problem needs to be solved first.

Still not clear.
Where is which subnet ?

There is no other subnet except of 192.168.192.0/24
All other were turned off. I have delete them not to confuse your look

Your main router is ax2 ?
Does ping from rb951 reach ax2 ?

If not, your problem is in ax lite.
Does it have all ports in bridge ? No nat ?

Yes, the CAPsMAN controller is hAP ax^2. Sure, the RB951Ui-2HnD has even internet

Do you mean the RB951Ui-2HnD? Yep, all ports are added to the single bridge.
de.png

There is no any NAT rules.
d1e.png

Wait a minute …
Rb951 is device with legacy wifi.
It can not be controlled by wifiwave2 capsman !!

Unless you try 7.13 and also install wireless package on ax2. Then it would theoretically be possible to have 2 capsman controllers on the same device. One for wave2 radios, one for legacy radios.
But … never tested it myself.

Only easy way out, is disable caps mode on rb951 and setup wireless manually there.

Lol. Thanks a lot. You have spent a lot of time. It was stupid of me not to explain everything at first.
