CAPsMAN wiht more than 250+ AP

Hi all,

First of all for any one who likes to contribute its free to comment and thank you.

So lets start as an core router for CAPsMAN configuration we have a CCR1036-8g-2s+ (i thought there is enough power of processing in here). In every port rj45 there is direct link connected to cisco switches with pppoe most common are CAT 3560 x10 there are even back to back connected.

In each rj45 port is configurate in separate.

The issue is time to time 4h or 5hr that every each single AP disconnects from CAPsMAN and reconnects again. So does the customers since the SSID disappears.

Any suggestions are welcomed.

Almost sounds like there is an issue with RSTP unless you have logs from the CCR to show otherwise.

Having a secondary capsman controller is always a good idea (is much easier to implement if just using local forwarding).

Posting your config(export) and version info would be useful as well.

As mentioned start whit STP. Use local forwarding and set capsman servers IP address on APs manually. In that way connection will happen over L3 (it usually have better stability).
