Will the CAPsMAN ever have features like NV2 wireless protocol and WMM support?
All the features in the “Advanced” tab on the wireless interfaces would also be great to have.
Can these be implemented in the CAPsMAN package or is that limited?
It would also be a bonus to be able to run a remote scan and frequency usage graph.
currently CAPsMAN is designed for the public places (like buildings/hotels/shops). Later when we will make all the features we could start to check the WISP features.
I have CAPsMAN in one of our public Highschools. 12 caps. We use EAP-TLS. Works great.
CAPsMAN really deserves improvemnts. It is a great addon to RouterOS. It would be great if one of the next releases would include the current (latest) version of CAPsMAN.
Uldis, is there a roadmap of CAPsMAN development? When can we expect the new functions in CAPsMAN? OK, “when it is done”, but is there any timeframe like in 3 month time, 8months time, a year…? Can you please give us some thoughts on CAPsMAN development?
