I want to create a captive portal using PHP to manage user acces to our network which is provided by a mikrotik routers in my restaurant ,so we want to give each user a limited period of time connexion depending on how much they consume,and i want to control the size of data that they dowload .so has any one a step by step tutorial or some docs that will help me to do that.

I guess you don’t need to develop one from scratch. There’re a number of free/paid hotspot management systems available on the web.
Even, I myself, have developed one. 
Perhaps you could guide us toward some of those premade php captive portals. I have been searching google for a few hours and can’t find any.
