Caush Server on RB 1000

Hi every body,
I want to install Caush server on the RB1000, with the external SATA hard disk , is there any one help me how can do that,

Twana,

The RB1000 does not have a sata port, does not have a USB port, does not have an IDE port. So how will you connect a sata drive?.

If you want to build a cache server from it, you can buy a MicroDrive from 3-6GB and install that internally on the CF+Type II port.

If you just want a cache server with a big hard drive, then build it from an x86 PC and install RouterOS on a Flash DOM like one of these:

Thanks Tom,
I wanna make a RB1000 to caush server .. with the Microdrive memory and i purchased a RB1000 U but i can’t find the place of the memory and i checked on the routerbord.com there is a place inside of the RB1000’s picture on the site but on my RB1000 i can’t find it.. pleaes let me know how can i make a RB 1000 to caush server with the momery .. and what configration i need ?
