Caution to all - do not downgrade wireless

Do not downgrade wireless from beta 7 to 2.9.* or whatever version you are using. Will let you anything else but wireless going on. Interfaces are in disabled mode, so you can’t enter in. Good side is that you have routing capabilities and ethernet working.

a rule of thumb is to always make backups, and keep backdoors open when operating in a beta environment. plus, please don’t (atleast try to avoid) using the beta in a live network with customers in it.

actually downgrading is not a good idea anyway, as older versions might not be prepared to convert the new RouterOS settings into old ones (as opposed to upgrading).

Yes, pls always do backup with:
-on WinBOX, click click File and Backup
-on Terminal, /system backup save

will guarantee if something happen on your M/T ROS beta version, pls using Netinstall to downgrade to v2.9x and wil do restore it again.
It is very simple. Ok?

i would add only, if you are 100% sure that feature you need is working and is working as you expect it to work, only then upgrade to beta version, even, if you already use beta, upgrade only if you know that deature you depend on is working in new beta, as new things and/or optimizations are added every build and something might get broken :exclamation: :exclamation: :exclamation:
