CCQ, stability and distance problem (Indoors)

Hi, I’ve a problem with RB433 + R52HN + 2 Mikrotik Omni Indoors 3dBI in AP BRIDGE mode.

mipsbe version 5.26.
2GHz-B/G/N
Channel Width 20MHz

Is configured as basic AP Bridge to connect smartphones, notebooks, netbooks, etc.
The signal is poor in any distance (Near the AP is acceptable), but the CCQ variates between 15% and 70%.
The TX Power is default.

Try to point the wireless antennas in different direction, maybe one horizontal and the other vertical.
What power supply you are using?

If you use wireless encryption, make sure that you use AES and not TKIP.

Last thing that I suggest to check is to look if the wireless card is not getting very hot (can’t even touch it) as maybe it is damaged?
Always make sure that you do not power on the wireless card without antennas.

The antennas are a little inclined like ____/ but I’ll try one vertical and the other horizontal now with same results.

24V 0.8A power supply, tested OK.

WPA2 AES

With another R52HN card I’ve had the same problem, but I’ve changed it in RMA. The new board have the same problem. There’s no high temperature.

how far you go form the AP and what signal are you seeing and do you have some wall between the AP and the wireless client?

Multiple clients from 2 to 15 meters (6,5 to 49 feet) aprox., with good line of sight, without obstacles.

-50 signal in 4 meters (13 feet).
With Channel Width in 20/40MHz is the same problem.

No walls, the problem is the same with any client:

those are normal signal reading.
The CCQ isn’t so high because it is possible that most of your clients can’t use the 2 chains and 20/40mhz operation so they will not be able to go up to 300mbps data-rate. That is why you will not see the CCQ up to 100%.
Also please note that CCQ will be low if you don’t send/receive any traffic over wireless as during the idle usually the data-rates are lowered.

Is the same problem with 1 chain only and 20MHz, and the same problem if I only use B/G instead of B/G/N.
The clients are trying to navigate and generate traffic, but there’s a enormous delay.
Sometimes, the clients lose their wireless connection with the AP.

With another AP Bridge this doesn’t occur, but with this solution the problem is persistent.
We have tried Draytek and Cisco small business APs with good results, but we have buyed Mikrotik to get best performance, but this doesn’t happens.

Any help please?
I don’t think that in 4 meters you have sometimes 10% CCQ and constant disconnections.
