I think the most common in this case is a powersupply issue.
try hook on something on serial console to see if there is something like diagnostic output or so.
Thank you for your response, I checked all you said but no solution
I couldn’t fine diagnostic output.
I checked the power is okay.
Hello,
I have exact same issue, this you find a solution ?
When checking power supply he means voltage of it. The faulty PSU will display normal voltage when tested but when used after a few minutes voltage will drop. Apply some load to the PSU and just monitor the voltage to see if it drops after a few minutes and if it does than it is faulty.
Did you update and got stuck at boot?
This boot failure happened to me 2 months ago with a brand new CCR . After 3-4 reboots, the router booted properly!
This is more likely a NAND issue than a power issue.
you should use the Netinstall utility to format and reinstall the current RouterOS.
For Netinstall, you will need a Windows XP Or Windows 7 computer (XP is better for this) with an ethernet interface.
Download the current stable RouterOS for Tile.
You will need to be plugged into Ether 1 on the router.
We have the same issue, on a CCR with The Dude running. The Dude consumed all the Disk Space, until it was 0% disk available.
I’ve tried to delete some files (old backup files) but we got the error “could not delete” Error 6.
I’ve restarted the router and now it’s stuck at “Starting Kernel”. How can we fix the router? How can we remove files from the internal disk so the OS can start?
Is there a procedure to fix the router without Netinstall and wipe the local Disk?
Hello,
We have an CCR1016-12S-1S+ where the disk got full due to The Dude database.
The router is now stuck at “Starting Kernel”.
We want to reinstall is using NetInstall, but by connecting the Ethernet cable in the SFP1 we received the below message and the Router will not show up in the Netinstall. CCR work with NetInstall only on the SFP1? The link is up on the computer but does not receive any packets!
What can we try next?

We have an backup file of the router (approx 600KB). Can we format the NAND disk and them import the backup? Will this preserve the License Key, or the license will be restored from the backup file?
Can we connect to the internal Disk from Serial Console and remove some files to make some free disk space?
Can we perform an “Netinstall” from Serial Console?
If none of the above is working, can we format the NAND, and then to request new license from Mikrotik Support? (Or can we import the license from backup?)
Thank you.
